wondering weres the engine number on a ef 4ltr?

it should tell you in the owners manual, or a service manual.

i think its at the front of the block on the drivers side, under the alternator.....but it might not be....

its on a plate on the drivers side, its pretty hard to see. You will need a torch for it. I had a thread for this a couple of months ago look for that its got a good illustration on it which shows where it is.

drivers side behind powersteering pump
on the actual engine block not the cylinder head or anything. (oviously)

mine is at the back of the motor, on the drivers side.
