Default My EF Fairmont Interior is retarded. Why?

Blah, my car's interiour is phisically fine.

But it's the dash colour! It's like a tan colour (which I rather than grey) but I can't find any tan bits and pieces from wreakers to match it :/

Did ford only produce the early EF fairmonts with tanned dash and accessories? Or is my car just retarded :P

I went and bought an ashtray and a interiour light today (both of mine were broken...) and I didn't think about the grey until I put them in the car lmao, I managed to mount my old EF's broken ashtray's front to the new surround, and it's swheet.

But that reading lamp was beyond help :P So I'm going to take it back and hopefully eaither a) get a tan one, or b) get my money back.

Can I order EF Fairmont parts new from ford in the Tan colour? Or am I forced to run around to multiple wreakers?

Cheers

Sould be able to, manufacturers must stock parts for their cars for at least 10 years. The EFs finished in 96 so you have a very good chance... Goodluck with the costing...

The tan parts you are refering to are known as "cappa" or capachino (*sp)

There are wreckers about that have Cappa interior bits. Ive seen it around

For what it's worth, it works both ways. I was wrecking a cappuccino EL but many perfectly good parts went to waste because demand for that colour is so low.

Taint necesarily so...

I tried to get the seat adjuster wheel for my 96 EL but the dealer said 'no longer available', had to source one from the wreckers!.

I have a Fairmont EL, I have "cappuccino" top (like the dash and top half of the doors) and a grey colour on the bottom half and the centre consol bottom, but the lid to the consol and the glove box are cappaccino colour
