well done mate, it's good fun hey ? That is great MPH and should see you doing a mid 14 with the right launch/traction. Good on you for giving it a go.

congrats on the trophy mate u deserve it!

EF302 its true.
My mate ran a 14.7 in an EA with a spooled 2.92 then ran a 15.0 with 3.27's.
Its because you dont have to change into 4th. So its peaking 3rd across the line.

eeeekk im running a 14.81@91something mph. So get an lsd in the bum southy and you will bring those times down to a 14.4 or sometinhg.

yeah 2.92 isn't a bad ratio, I cross the line in third too.

Crossing the line at peak power in 4th is a good thing - you can flat shift 3-4 so the shift time is SFA, and the car gets to pass through its peak power range 4 times instead of just 3...well, at least with my car (i crossed the line at around 4800/5200 in 4th), my box has a big rev drop between 2-3 but not much at all between 3-4, other people may have better ratios...3.9s were perfect for my car but may be too short for an EA box...they seem to have shorter ratios.

Congratulations for getting into the 14s Southy!!! All these cars doing sub 15 with such minor work...who would have thought it 5 years ago???

Don't see many V6 commos down around the 14s...
