Territory steelies with hub adaptors on EB?

Hi guys,

Just curious.. I -have- searched but comes up with mixed opinions.. anyone know for a fact, eg first hand experience or anything.. if it'd be ok to put the 17" territory steelies on an EB fairmont with the 30mm hub adaptors?

They wont break off while i'm on the freeway to work or anything? :P

Also anyone know in Sydney where I can get the adaptors, preferably west sydney?

personally i'd use them, TEMPE tyres is the only place that i know that sells them, check your wheel/hub nuts periodicallly and i can't see a problem, the cops do though.

I've thought about putting them on my eb too, but they're heavy rims and hub adapters arn't cheap, so it didn't seem worth it.

I have seen these on a car in melbourne they look ok! U should only need adaptors for it and low profile tyres!!

Cheers guys, will look into pricing but atm the way I see it is ~$300 for adaptors, and ~$200 for terri wheels means a cheap set of 17s that I actually like the look of more than the usual 5-spoke designs..

At least until I can afford some decent 18-19s..

I was running adapters a while ago. They did come loose and I nearly lost a wheel. Maybe use a bit of locktite to be on the safe side. They cost me $345 at the local quick fit.

i have seen these territory steelies on a few e series cars in melbourne they do look good but probably better to save ur money and go for a set of rims but other then the price for the adaptors they do look good on the e series cars good luck would like to see pics if u go ahead with it

First up gotta get a few things fixed eg exhaust etc, then lower it, then wheels will be next on the list so will update you all with whatever happens

Hey guys another quick question about this.. someone told me you can JUST get hub adapters on the front only and then AU-onwards wheels will fit (they said they already fit on back?).. someone else said that's bollocks and you need adapters on all four corners..

Noone I know has a post-AU for me to try this out.. anyone got a definite answer? Because I don't want to spend the ~$250 on 4 adapters if I only need 2.. (I found some post-AU rims that I like)..

AU wheels will fit on the rear, how ever they'll sit under the car more then they should.
you'll need the adapters to ensure the rear track is the same.

cheap solution for a few weeks would be.....leave what you have on it........thats free...cant get any cheaper than that

i think it is on the forum but i have seen an au with the terri's on it. looks pritty good

Yer probably what i'll do, just NOT a fan of the turbo blades..

Or will try get some 16" steelies and just use them for now.
