Whats a tow truck?

Oh damn, that's the thing that tows your car home when your fuel pump breaks at 2.00am in the morning

My EL was on a tow truck four times last year (well to be more exact, four times in four months).

- gearbox/tail shaft (may)
- engine (twice, one trip home, one trip to mechanic) (june)
- heater hose (august)

I got a new car.

What do ya know?...Started first time !
Coils have a habit of just dying unexpectedly. Had a mate (NL Fairlane) pull in next to me at a 'carlovers' wash place, engine died on the way into the bay hadn't even got it wet. Coil.

4 times...

1st - Thermostat housing blew
2nd - Radiator side tank blew at 2am
3rd - Car not running well after putting in AU motor, and it was at 1am. Turned out to be the coil to dizzy lead was buggered
4th - The insulator on the clutch fork to the cable broke

4 times in 13 years isnt too bad really. better than my brother in-law, his record for 1 week was 5 times.

ea has been towed once, Dizzy shat itself 10 minutes from home. It got towed home on the back of a flat bed tow truck the longest part was the wait for the tow truck. i waited 2 hours for it. but it cost me nothing thanks to my girl friend grandpa being in the raa and said he was driving. :

Not sure if this is a moment i should be boasting about, had my first tow truck ride on thursday, but what really ****ed me off was that it was only a stuffed ignition coil and i left my tools in the ed.

been fortunate enough not to go on the back of a tow truck! I have had a couple of small things break but always managed to limp home! Problems were broken clutch cable! I got it home! Luckly i was only 5 kms from home! Other was a broken valve spring! She kept running but it wouldn't pull a mole off a ****pot!
