Why is it OK to drive through school zones at 60 km/hr on roads which are usually 80 km/hr but not acceptable to drive at 60km/hr in school zones on roads which are usually 60km/hr?

Why is it that atheists are called non-believers? They strongly believe there is no God.

I spent 10 years in a Pentecostal cult, the absurdity of it all, is the belief in god is a default setting and you have to opt out. Why isn’t MY belief the default and YOU have to opt out :/

I cant figure this one out. My apprentice ever since he started has been rattling on about having a work car. As a second year he cant do any work unsupervised. So the plan is he can do lighting inspections, make a list and then when i rock up, we can do the work. So today he emptied out the van of the bloke who got the sack, empty empty, no ladder, no gear, no tools. Just a pad and pen. So to a degree he is getting the responsibility he has been wanting and for the time being, the work van he has rattled on for so long about. But he now doesnt want it.

Why is it that some countries seem to naturally sound better with 'The' in front of it?
The Philippines, The Maldives, The Ukraine etc. But you would never say that you are going to The India, The Japan etc. Anyway...

Painting the spare room with Mrs Rallye Sport today, I'm about to cut in around the door and I say " Doors going to be closed for a while if you need anything outside nows the time" The answer was "No".
Why is it.....? 60 seconds later she looks at me in obvious discomfort and says "I need to go to the toilet"

Why is it, after the first day of sending my apprentice who doesnt want the van on the train to do lighting checks on his own, he really enjoyed it? He was a bit disjointed when he was expecting a lift to the next site and i put him on the train, but when i rocked up on site to do the work on his list he was happy as larry. He had just put in his headphones and made his list. My manager and i have come up with a pitch to the boss for the boy to have the van on days its needed, and keep his travel allowance. On days he isnt running around the van sits at the office and he is on the train. On days the van is needed he can pick it up in his own time from the office and leave his car and get to site on time. Leave site on time and go get his car. Plus we can use him to do pick ups and drop offs to the other boys, and he is a lot cheaper then anyone else in a work car. That idea floats pretty well with everyone so far.

Why is it that pink and blue can no longer be assigned to children because it 'enforces sexist stereotypes', but pink and blue are used for gender reveal parties?

Why is it there are only 2 types of people who work at car parts places? Theres the people who know everything, then theres potatoes. I dealt with the latter today at bursons. Ive been procratinating fitting the exhaust i have for my bf for 4 years. My excuse being dont have flange gaskets. Traced the flange and measured the internal diameter. So a piece of paper to reference. Told the bloke what was needed. He asks for the rego of the car, and cones back with what the factory ones are. Yes the bolt holes lined up to the paper, but it wasnt what i asked for. Its not the factory fart pipe. Ended up with the right gaskets, but it was like i was an alien to him wanting something that wasnt the stock item on the system for that car. Normally you are the model customer if you want non factory stuff and have measurements and all the specifics.

That I rhyme “plant” with “can’t” but not “ant” with “aunt”?

... That when you send you car in for an issue that requires no road testing, you still need to relocate the drivers seat back to your preferred position when you pick it up.. for the ten seconds it takes you to move it from the service driveway to your working area and back, just leave the f****** seat where it is.

How tall are you. I’m 195cm. I move every seat in every car I go in or I can’t drive it. On the flip side I have always had my seat moved on me so that the person can reach the peddles. It’s literally the right thing to do. |

185cms which I believe is about average and the ‘kid’ that moved it around the back when I dropped it off was about my height. When I got back in it I could barely reach the steering wheel

Why is it the media keeps referring to Richard Pusey as "the Porsche driver"? He is also a mortgage broker. He is also a registered nurse. Why is Porsche's name being dragged into this?
