Well, 2 weeks ago i had a nasty encounter with a gutter taking out 2 drivers side tyres, one didnt survive, one ended up with a nice bulge, so i've been running around with a 215/60 and a 205/65 on the rear and a bulge on the front hand side. I started going to a few places getting the prices of new 15's and then decided i may as well go the 17's anyway.
They are ROH RT's 17x8, i got a 5th one for free (big gutter scraps), aswell as a worn 2nd hand 17" tyre to go on it. The other 4 are perfect with a real minor scratch (deleted pic cauz it couldnt be seen) on 1 rim. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...sAsidewall.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...re17Damage.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...weeeeeettt.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...an86/Phils.jpg (you can use that for some rage phil ;)) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...mismatched.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...an86/Bulge.jpg Cost me $950, brand new 234/45/17 Kuhmo 711's. Balanced, and he even threw in some locking nuts for me, a great help.. many thanks to Shannon @ Bridgestone Reynella Note: they will be going on tomorrow, but i couldn't wait so just put them by the car and took a pic Last edited by FordFan86; 23-05-2005 at 08:58 PM. |

When i can be bothered i'll be getting a pic in the daylight (due to hours out of the house always home when it starts getting dark)
Those rims come when i got the car, they were already beat up, i might've added 1 or 2 minor scrapes to them, but damn all 4 are completely beat up :S |

In that last pic it doesn't look like it has to be lowered much more than what it already is, it looks great.
Just make it go faster now :eclipsee_
