Default Car Colour

Hey All,

Would the colour on the new camaro be close to the yellow on the new XR's?

I am thinking of changing the colour of my XR when I get the XR50 bodykit put on.

So the car would be:

BF 19" F6 Typhoon rims
XR50 bodykit
Black cobra stripe kit
Dark window tint

acid rush, the metallic colour on the early XR's would be closer than Rapid Yellow.

add a bit more yellow in acid rush, to lighten it up and it should be close.

Acid Rush isnt a good look on AU's, seen 2 done in it and it looks even worse than it does on BA's.

ahhhh ok, to make octane like the camaro, add a bit of gold and a metallic fleck, cause octane is a flat colour.

I think it still need a Gold Metallic through it though ... Octane is just a tad too flat for this ... unless you put it through as a pearl finish over the top of Octane.

Mate Octane with some flek in it will look sensational !
Mate if you did your p/s 3wks ago while my T3 is in the panel shop I would have seriously thought about doing it...even though the diehards would have killed me lol....

Maurie ... I think all AFF members would have thrown rocks at you have you stripped back that beautiful Blueprint paint and changed the colour.

I do agree with adding a fleck to Octane though.

What's a ball park figure for getting the car resprayed in a stock/premium au colour? I'm looking at getting the dints and scratches from the previous owner taken out. What would it cost do have a detailer give it the once over?

Sorry for bein slightly off topic.

That camaro looks niiiiice! The PS is decent too!

octane is flat taxi orange. The metallic yellow off the camaro would look 100x better.
