I play GTA:SA multiplayer all the time (www.sa-mp.com) which is really good itself, but this new one looks mind blowing, the video makes it look spectacular!

gah, why do companies insist on releasing awesome first-person style games on consoles where it is undoubtedly harder to control and aim than on a PC? i'd get Gears of War in an instant if it migrated off the consoles. now GTA, a game that had its first 2 incarnations on PC has become a console only title? lame.

Apparently Sony had some sort of "Exclusivity Deal" with Rockstar or something, which meant it was Exclusive to the Playstation for a certain amount of time before it was released cross-platform - this way, if you REALLY wanted to play the game, you could go out and buy a console.

I think that its a stupid type of deal, I personally can't use console controllers, I am so conditioned to the KB+Mouse combo of the PC, plus, if I went and bought a console, I'd have to buy a TV to play it on.

GTA IV is looking awesome (to say the least), and I really hope it does get a chance to shine on PC (the graphics always look cleaner and better on PC - I remember comparing San Andreas on the brother's PS to my PC).

Let's hope it doesn't get stuck with all the controversy and bs that SA did (Hot Coffee anyone?) :P

GTA 3, Vice City and to a lesser extent GTA SA are responsible for me not being a rhodes scholar. In fact i hold Vice City totally responsible for my school marks all those years ago.

Who gives a *** if they ban them, it will increase piracy as people will just download it instead. Thats what I have to do for Manhunt 2, and what i did for the first a few years back.

That's alright if its only banned in Aus, but if it somehow manages to get a banning in the States/UK, it might be a little hard to source them unfortunately.

I'm lucky enough to have an original legit copy of the first Manhunt (pc version) as it was released onto the shelves, then they reclassified it with a banning.

Also, my legit copy of San Andreas for PC was one of the first ones to be released, before they pulled it off the shelves and re-released it without the "Hot Coffee" code.

why would you spend millions of dollars on a game that no one will buy because its available on torrentspy 10days before release? they release on consoles to get a bit of dough from MS and sony if they wanna advertise the game with their name, profit from sales..make enough to not worry about the illegal copies, then release to PC with a new copy protector that allows you to burn the disk...but every time you do internet banking it takes half of it in return for a licence for the game... :P

oh btw game looks awesome, i will wait for PC though....alot easier with controls and mods too when the game gets boring

Gears of War will be out on PC by the end of the year. Dodgy-cam footage of the updated GoW have been all over youtube.

Im Hanging for this....also couldn't imagine playing this game on a PC.....need a comfy couch for hours of play - Someone said this game is a FPS....think again

its a TPS technically, third person shooter. since your view isnt from their eyes, but from a fake camera behind and above. or is that second person :P

I'm with you there. I have San Andreas on PC, while my brother has it on PS2. I find mine so much easier to control. It's easy to aim quickly at targets on PC. It's a shocker with PS2 controls.

I hope so. Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories, the latest 2 GTA games still haven't made it to PC.

Atleast they didnt decide to bring out another GTA game on the old PS2,XBOX platform, because it was done to death.

San Andreas on PS2 is shocking, GTA3 was the only one that truely looked good...probly because it was much simpler than say San andreas.

GTA has a much MUCH richer history on PC than it has on any console!! Seriously check out san andreas on a high end PC and you'll never look at the console renditions again...

Looking forward to GTA IV on PC... lol, contemplating some new graphics hardware that costs as much as a PS3

I reckon. It started on PC, so I don't know why the consoles get it first. If it wasn't for PC players buying and playing it, it would have never taken off. Plus the PC version you can customize alot of things, including replacing the *****y weapon skins.
