Can anyone recommend any jobs that are weekend only work? I know they are probably hard to come by but I need to save up a few $$$. I work full-time Mon-Fri but looking for those few extra bucks. I have checked seek.com however I haven't found much and thought it would be better to ask the opinions of others as its hard to tell by the ads as they all seem to be so fluffed up. Any recommendations guys?

you could call manpower or one of those labour hire places and see if they need anyone over the weekends. I just did some weekend work, boring as bat sheet but its some extra money for the upcoming repairs needed on the car LOL.

Yes as mentioned abouve , get onto some recruitment agencys , they have heaps of work , there is tonns of them too. Staff Australia, Adecco, Skilled, Manpower, Catalist, Toranto, gee the list goes on. You can bring up the list of recruitment agencys on seek.com.au and see who has what offering , gl.

Thanks guys I plan to give it ago in about 4 weeks (after uni is over) probably not a good idea to get another job before then. When you go to seek and type in 'weekend work' its most jobs promoting no weekend work haha.
Ah money why can't someone just give me a heap of it for free!

Are there any kinds of markets around your area? If there are, go and see if anyone needs help setting up/selling etc. Will usually give you cash in hand aswell.

bar / cafe work mate. stress free, easy money. if you are looking for a friday night / saturday night / sunday night just do a quick 2 day bar course and get started in a bar. good pay also.

If you have the patience and temperament you could always work as a respite carer or residential carer for a disabled services provider..... they're always looking for staff.

Driving taxi's is flexible... an easy course to get your licence, then you could earn $150+ for Friday or Saturday night work. The smarter you drive, the more you earn!

Try some service stations, always looking for graveyard shift operators, and usually the weekend rate is better than the weekday rate.

If your in a major city, have basic cleaning skills and equipment, put an add in the local paper for cleaning. You'll soon have more work than you can handle, jack the prices up, and want to quit your 'day' job to clean.
Worked for me. But now I moved out bush  :

"RSA" & RSG" are good courses to take , couple of mates have them and just "spread the word" at clubs & Pubs . If they have a busy night they give you a call , they would work 5 out of 6 w/ends .
RSA , Responsible Service of Alcohol RSG , Responsible Service of Gambling They're a good "Stand By"

try a garden supplies/ nursery etc or anything thats open 7 days. i used to manage one and it was always hard to get people on weekends.
