Question Advice on tyre brands

I'm going to be getting new tyres very soon as the ones i got on now are basically bald haha! Just wondering what are the most decent brand tyres? I want ones that have decent grip especially! Atm, i got Falken 245/40's. Cheers!

Maxxis, seeing as you will need low profile i'd recomend, depending on how much u want to spend, either the MA-V1(cheaper) or the MA-Z1(most expensive, equilivant to the Pirrelli*spelling* tyre)

Toyo Proxies. Top of the line tyres but come at an expense though.

Ive managed to wear out a set of Silverstone 245's in less than 30,000kms (I am ****ed about it) and they have not had a hard life by any means.

SP3000's are good but once theyre down to 50% or so they can be a bit ordinary.

I was told to steer clear of michelin tyres as they change the pattern too quickly and if you blow one, you can't match them.....is this true

Hankook K104s ... or Maxxis MA-Z1's.

Am running MA-Z1's on the ute at the moment .. have done 5,000km on them ... and they look like brand new still ... nice and quiet ... grip is wet and dry is awesome.

I just did a delivery up to Singleton on the Putty Rd ... loaded up .. torrential rain ... there was so much water on the road ... I had no issues with aquaplaning and I could hold the 100km/h speed limit ... the amaount of water that the tyres were getting rid of was awesome ... could see it out the side window getting sprayed a fair way across off the other side of the road.

Was a great wet test for me ... best value for money tyre I have had on the work ute so far.
