Talking GT stripes

It has taken some time to get the courage up to get this done, but now that have, I can't help thinking I should of had this done a long time ago. I know it's not everyones cup of tea and that the purists will roll their eyes - but I love the look of it.

The next thing will be a set of rims. I have a good idea of what I'm after, just have to make up my mind. Tossing up between the Mantis or something with chrome dish and black spokes.

Cheers,

Andrew

Andrew,

Definitely different. Haven't seen it on Mercury Silver before.
Glad you're happy with it, and looking forward to seeing some rims on it. Should set it off.

Cheers

That's the one. Have looked at your rims for a while trying to imagine what they would look like with my colour car. Still leaning toward the black spoke type of rim. I think one of the Caberra lads has had his stock BA Mk2 GT rims painted black. I would be curious to get a closer look to see how they turned out.

The only issue with them is that spokes do "come" out a little from the edge, and can be easily scraped.

The stockies would look good in all black or shadow chrome. However the offset issue would still remain.

Hey Stretch;

I know Drew is aching to ask you, but doesn't feel right about it. So I will ask on his behalf and act as the middle man.

Do you still have the purple neons?

See Drew it wasn't that hard. And Iam sure if you ask Stretch nicely he might even help you wire them up
