You have a Borg Warner 3.23:1 Ratio Diff. Not sure if it is LSD or not.
That's not a bad ratio

I used to have a S1 Forte Police car...definately was LSD...you might want to see if your car is though, mine ran a 3.45 diff, yours says it's 3.23.
Have a look on your compliance plate and see if it has OPT20 under the GMV weight or GVM weight...if it doesn't, she isn't an ex-police vehicle. Another way to find out is see if it has the recalibratable (is that a word?) speedo with the 2km/hr increments...and it should go to 240 instead of 220 |

just jack the car up on one side at the back, put it in neutral and by hand rotate the tyre. If it rotates its not a lsd, if it doesnt its a LSD

thanks for the reply guys, it has the opt 20 and the 2 km increment speedo which goes up to 240 : .
i read some where on here that i have to jack it up and spin one side and if the wheel on the other side moves in the opposite direction then its an lsd. looks like i gotta jack it up before i go and grab the oil lol , was just lazy. edit - some one replied above lol, so its time to jack her up. |

Just take it for a spin around the back. Take off quickly around the corner. You'll know in a second.

Easies way, park with one wheel on the grass & one on the road. With foot on the break slightly, accellerate to get it to spin a wheel, the wheel on the grass will spin. If only it spins its a single spinner, if the one on the tar bites in and spins aswell you have an LSD.
Or jack it up and check.
