Default Another 'thinking of selling, what's it worth' thread :)

Hey guys, been ages since i've posted here, hope you have all been well

Looking at selling my ED xr6, just wondering what kind of money they go for nowadays. I'm a bit out of the e-series loop :(

It's a '93, poly green, 5 speed manual. 208,XXX on the clock, momo wheel with cruise control, interior is very clean (no rips or stains), car is stock apart from a monza gear knob that was there when i bought it. Just had the clutch replaced too.

Only thing is the front spoiler is a little belted up. Bumper is fine, just the xr lip, I think it looks bad but it's not something that is incredibly obvious when you look at the car.

Any help guys? Wanna get my little VW back on the road, and the only way it'll happen is if i sell the beast :(

EDIT- forgot to mention, would come with RWC and reg til Sep

Going by this link http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/au...s.php?id=62371 I would expect a good example would be just above the range stated.

Ive always found this guide to be a bit light at best but if you take it on the upper limit for the condition and K's your car has done. ie: add a bit more to this estimation.

What sarge says sounds about right, on a good day with the right person you may get upto about 6-7K.
Its really hard to say you will get any price for any sort of car now days.
Thats the main reason i havnt sold mine.
