To get $765 for an EA, any EA is a damn good sale, let alone one as crap as that!

im going to get shot down for this but.....

i recon that has some potential in it. some nice wheels, some serious dumpage and it could look not too bad (if it was in overall better condition and maybe a 5L EB/ED it would be a lot better base)

Lol. I saw this thing in Croydon the other day.

Couldn't stop laughing, so just HAD to get a photo and post it on here, but it looks like someone beat me to it with the eBay link.

Here's the photo anyway.

I highly doubt the bidding was genuine.

That's higher than mine was... except for when the Self Leveling Suspension stuffed up and kept jacking the back to maximum height! A foot of clearance between tyre and guard ftl.

Exactly what I was thinking! Put a nice big kit on it, weld up the rear doors, delete the door handles, windscreen chop, XR front, bonnet buldge, paint it Focus XR5T Orange, air bag suspension, 347 stroked V8, white leather interior...painting a picture yet!!
With a few...fair few dollars it'd be sweet!

Totally agree Braden and blueprint. Maybe not Orange though ..... I was thinking maybe Phantom ;) I guess it takes someone with imagination to take things just that one step further.

Could this be 'THAT' original idea that we all aspire to just to be a little different from the rest??

A few years ago there was a cheap aussie made movie called 'IN THE RED'. Pretty much a crap ricer movie but it had the supercharged vs ute(THE BEAST) but it also had a convertable EB falcon with two tone paint job (from memory) in it doing an open wheeled burnout. Don't know if it was made for the movies but it had NSW plates on it aswell. A little bit funny looking, i'll try and get some pics of it, i have the movie buried somewhere.

Yeah, they lost the plot for a while! I'd still drive one but compared to the 64-70 Stangs, it just looks horrid.

They sold over 2.5million Fox Mustangs so I dont see how you could regard them as not being a real Mustang....

Ive always thought these looked good.

Sorted and Grimus, you really need to stop posting these EA,s. One convertible, One Blown 3.8 hmmmmm............... That old EA of mine is still with me and who knows what might happen if you keep tempting me like that.

Nah only jokin guy's, the EA is as good as sold, but i will be getting sweet FA for it. It looks like it's going to a close friend of our's who is going for his licence in the next few week's. He will basically get it for the value of the 2 week old tyre's on it.

Pretty sad i know but hey, at least i know he will mod it and look after it. It is in the same condition as it was at this year's AFD.

He is after a car that is neat, straight and rust free but need's a little tinkering. Bingo, that's my EA. It will be hard to part with it as it is one of the neatest ride's i've ever owned and it is the car that led me here to meet many of you.

I now have the AU that was our family hack for 3 year's but it needs some TLC which has already begun. It is now ridin' lower than a snake's A-Hole and the sound system has been tweaked but that's as far as i will take it.

I would happily swap the AU for a old, but neat Z-Series Fairlane or XA, XB, or even HG, HT, HK Kingswood.

Yep that's right a Holden, but i have for many year's wanted a ol chrome bumpered whatever make to do up as a mild Kustom so....................

So once again, Sorted and Grimus shut your pie holes and stop tempting me
