I have noticed a small vibration that seem to be getting worse, barely noticeable sometimes, its like driving over very small lumps in the road, i thought it was the road but it does it on the new part of eastlink to, the steering wheel sometimes shakes a little bit but not much. can worn shocks cause this?
BTW its an AU3 xr6 ute |

Lower balljoints could be shot. sometimes if you hit a bump it can feel like the wheel is wobbling and then it settles down untill the next big bump. So check the lower balljoints?

loose inner /tie rod ends or slop in steering can also give intermittent wheel wobble.

i put the front wheels on the back a while ago and 2 months later the left one ended up like this:
it was the same on the opposite side to what this is, not all around the tire |

sounds like you've got a real problem somewhere or really crappy tyres or both...

thanks guys, i had a wheel alignment done, the guy found that my nankang tire is seperating the layers, which one of the other tires did of the same brand. when i took the wheel off i rolled it along the flat ground and it would fall to one side, its also made the car axle tramp to, since i took it off i havnt had any problems, except he
told me my caster bushes need replacing :( does anyone know why the tire would seperate? still has plenty of tread left, kind of a waste really blackauxr8, should i have a camber kit? it has been lowered 35mm in the front and 50mm at the rear from XR height |
