Hi guys,
I'm looking to put some 17 inch Tickford (AU XR) alloys on my forte, which currently has 15 inch (I think) steel wheels. I'm hoping to confirm that they will fit. Will they be all good with the offset and such? The alloys will obviously be wider... I assume the tyre sidewall is smaller to compensate for the increase in rim size, in order to maintain the same overall package size, is that the case? This is a dense question I know, but you have to learn somewhere. |

That choice of rim will fit perfectly fine IF you have another AU to fit them to. It will enhance the look of your forte and will improve your handling at the same time with no rubbing or scrubbing. If they are to be fitted to an e-series. i.e. pre-97 made falcon, then they will not fit.
I would recommend getting a wheel alignment soon after you fit the new rims thats all. Post up pics once they are fitted.

Yeah the AU XR wheels will fit on an AU Forte (even all B-series as well).
When going to 17" sizing ... Falcons run 235/45R17 size rubber to keep rolling circumference as close as possible to standard. It's the size they run on the XR's.
