TS50 S1 Rear spoiler

hi i looking at changing the rear spoiler on my XR6 to a lower one as i like the look of the lower ones. Just wondering how much bigger these ones are compaired to the ones on the futura fairmonts?

I'm not quite sure what you mean are you comparing the T-series one to the classic etc one?




If so you can see the T-series spoiler extends slightly past the boot flattening out the bootline more & generally looking better but I believe it wont cover the bolt holes left by you standard wing so will require a little more work to fit comapared to the classic one which will.

I believe all genuine AU Spoilers bolt onto the same holes!

i wasnt sure if there was much differance between them in style. I had been looking around and only found pics of the TS50

can you still get hold of the classic bobtail spoiler i have 1 but its cracked

low_au_classic, Fibresports should have the Classic style spoilers if you're after one.

mrghia, there's not a huge difference between them, but if you do a search I put some photos up a while back showing the difference. The TS one only uses 2 bolt holes though, so you'll need the other 2 filled if you're going from a XR spoiler to a bobtail. Cheers, Matt.

cool i think i will look at getting a TS one i think does any one know what they are worth? Maybe a swap for my spoiler lol

Im tossing up whether to get this spoiler. It looks good, but Im also a fan of not having one at all too.

the TS one is the go, thats what i have, looks much better than the classic one IMO

If you go the TS one, you will need to fill the upper holes left by your old spoiler - just something to keep in mind; I got mine done for around $400 including repainting the boot lid and blending it in, and painting the spoiler (I did all the fitting).
