Hi everyone, is it alright to lower "just" the rear end of my XR8?
Does anybody have any pics of a stock XR8 with back lowered only? Im happy with the height of the front, i just wanna make it level alround.... And does any one know how much it would cost? Cheers guys |

There's nothing wrong with that mate, thats how a car should sit, level allaround, mine sits level, although it was lowered at the front , it now sits level.

Id be careful altering one end without the other.. it may impact "turn in" and steering geometry.

XRs come with "Lows" as standard, so you need to install SLs. Around $150 to $200 a pair new. SLs sit around 10 to 15mm lower than Lows.

If you had the car on LGP, it would be just right.
I've got XR springs in my S2 SR sedan, and the height is great, due to the weight of the LPG tank in the boot. Most guys here do as JC has said, Lows on the front and SuperLows rear. GK
