must have been a popular demo car!!! lol

Still mine is 06 and i bought it in apr 07 after it was sitting in the showroom since arrival.

Maybe this demo of yours has been sitting in the show room too.

Anyway popular performance mods usally include cai, cat-back and a flash tune for hp gain. other popular mods include springs and brake rotors/pads.

Hi there, I recently purchased an '08 CL myself, with 68kms on the clock.

Its a great car, and has lots of potential. Does yours have the "smooth pack"?
If not try and find one with it. I still only paid $18,990 for mine. Adds power mirrors, leather steering wheel, leather wrapped gear shift knob, alloy wheel, cruise control and a few colour coded bits. Great value.

As for problems, I have found none so far - touch wood. There are a lot of forums about (local and international) that have fault registers and the like.
I think being the last of its model, they sorted most issues. It is South African built, but so are 3 series Beemers!

Good luck with the purchase.

try slowing the car down to about 5k/h of less and let go of the break. If it thumps , ask them to fix by updating the PCM software.
cheers.

I've seen that mentioned a couple of times, but it has not effected my car - yet!!

[Runs off and touches some wood.]

So far, its smooth as.
