Hi,
does anyone know if there are any issues with replacing the factory tape player with a factory CD player (both from an AUI)? Has anyone done this swap? I know most people will say to put an aftermarket stereo in, but want to keep steering wheel controls plus the existing bluetooth handsfree kit. Thanks |

I'm assuming any extra plugs needed would already be there on the loom. Keeping the factory controls is a good idea if you can. GK

Won't be an issue with AU I parts. I added an AU II 6stack in dash CD into my AU I but I lost the use of my steering wheel controls :(

As long as you stay with AU series 1 stuff it will be fine. I have had issues with trying to put a premium unit from an AU series 2 into a series 1.
