Default Web site containing Old web sites?

There was a post a while back that had a site you could go to that contained the history of many common sites as they progressed over the years. (if that makes sense??)

ie you could go to the fordforums site a few years back and see who was on and some of the posts etc etc.

What was that site?

I did a search but found nil.
