Default Registering a car (WA)

I need to get my car registered, it recently went over the pits and passed so what is the approximate cost of getting a sedan (1.5t) registered in WA. I have looked at the DPI site but its confusing, tells me it's about $500 but this doesn't seem right. Cheers

goes on weight here, my au sedan is about $480 a year. unless you use it for business you only have to pay the private rate which is a bit cheaper...

but apparantly you have to pay these fees on top of the compulsary third party insurance, is this right?

Administration fee, $10.15
Light vehicle fee per 100kg, $14.75
+Plates - $17
CTPI - $250 6 months

so all up around $550... just sounds too expensive to me.
