Other then Stiddy, thats a deffinate no on a 13. I keep trying different things, and still come up short (and broken) every time. Another couple of weeks Ill try again though.
I dont know what it is with everyone else, all talk that there cars are super fast, and will do this, and can do that, but when it comes to actually doing it, they all tuck there tails and run the other way with a barrage of excuses.

I cant this week, My diff is in the shop after munching itself last week. But as soon as its back in, Im there with bells on. See whats next on the list of things to break. Im starting to find it rather amusing, see how hard I can drive it until something breaks, each time is a wonderful and exciting new adventure into destruction world.

And I know your car does 13's, proven ones, Id really like you to have a look over my car and a tinker before we go out next time if your keen?

I just get sick of people claiming there car should/would/can/will but never has run a certain time. Its all good to pee in someones pocket, but to back up some of these claims on here would be awesome.

LOL. Nah, not bagging anyone at all in particular, more of a blanket spread.
Its just that you see so many people claim there car is faster than yours, has more power, is way better, and they will prove it, but never do. I know what my car can do (when its not broken) and Im ok with that, its not fast, its not a ferrari, and thats ok to me.

Its been almost 12mths since i was last at the drags...it thought it would only be another two months before I had ported the intake and had another crack.

I will probably sell my ute before i get it back to the track :(

Life can get in the way...

My car is faster then yours, has more power, and is way better, and I will prove it.. maybe...one day...

I think the problem is with the NA I6 owners chasing power / times is that a lot of people want to retain "driveability" in their car. Not everyone wants a huge cam, big stallie and short diff gears. But then there's people like Josh who don't care :P Having drvien Josh's car its not really that bad, a little doughy in the low rpm but it still remains drivable..Thus why the 13's are still a big ask for an AU..

But, I am also surprised more people are not buying 4k AU's, spending 4k and running good numbers...

As for going to the drags, when most of us rely on our AU's for a daily the idea of breaking stuff is not something we all can handle financially, when we have to work the next day...

I know yours is faster, and sounds much much nicer, lol.
I think the problem is mainly the readily available kits for Turbo and supercharging now, at super good prices. For between 3500-4500 you can have a solid 220kw and retain easy driveability. It all comes down to money, and setup, Id love to keep chasing, and I have a little bit more to do, then thats it for me, Im already happy enough with what I run, any more is a bonus.

He has claimed a few things, let me see:

Thread about making 300hp atw in an NA 6:
Having built racing engines for a living, only an idiot trys to make this kind of power N/a. Just shows the lack of Automotive knowledge..

Couple of posts later:
Lmao..... I've built Ba engines that NA produce well in excess of 300 hp at the wheels (for speedway)

He has called us all idiots, and fools. He claims his car is fast, and built by him, but has never seen a dyno as thats just stupid. Obviously it runs a 12 or quicker, or he wouldnt have posted in here. So I guess we should all just open our arms and welcome him?

My maths figures 300hp as 223odd kw. 223 odd kw a 12 second car does not make.

how sad it must be to troll forums to start crap with people trying to have a laid back conversation. like people have said, you wanna talk, show some proof. if youre telling the truth its still rude to speak like that about other peoples cars, people have spent huge amounts of their time on some of these cars, why dont you read some of the build threads (especially the blue lagoon) and youll see the hard work youre making fun of
