Anyone know of anything like an electric car trolley?

My brother has just bought a car storage business. He has to move cars around often by himself and it's a very tight fit.
He has those jacks that you slip around the back wheels and pump up with your foot so you can manouvre in tight spots, but once again when you're on your own it's a bit hard.
I have seen electric jockey wheels for caravans, but they bolt onto the draw bar.
Something like this would be ideal, has anyone any knowledge of something like this for cars?

Those electric jockey wheel things are pretty clever but very pricey (~$2500 IIRC). The run time is very limited on them too. He could look at buying a 2nd Hand Walk Behind Forklift and adapting a cradle off a towtruck to suit it.

Yes but he's by himself so that makes it pretty hard. Even with 2 of us trying to move a 78 Fairlane it was difficult.
He has the Go Jacks ( I couldn't remember their name) and they're OK, but still looking to make it easier.

There was an entry on "The New Inventors" a couple of years ago, that was sort of like a scissor lift for cars. The inventor was a panel beater and the lift allowed cars to be moved around the workshop by a single person. Try the "New Inventors" section of the ABC website.

I've seen a petrol powered version of the "jockey wheel" you are describing at a few airports, they use them to manoeuvre aircraft around hangers and tarmac areas. If you have any mates who are pilots, perhaps they could ask around for you at your local airport.

Saw the pallet jack on ebay Outback jack. Sounds like the best option, and Henry351s suggestion, what can I say?

one set up i saw at the panel beaters was like a modified electric pellat jack that the go jacks instead forks prteey sure he got it from wurth or bursons, it was i real nifty thing to use for squeezing cars around the workshop

My brother found the dealer for these, 5 grand, ouch. Too much.

Thanks mate, but he has some of these, was really hoping to find something electric.
Even with go jacks it's a bit difficult for 1 guy, especially a bloody great Fairlane he has in there. Room is very tight and he doesn't want to scratch any other cars.
Looks like he'll just have to work out in the gym a bit more.
