Hi all,
I have just converted my au ute to power windows, following advice from other threads on this site. It was fairly simple thanks to these forums. However, I have noticed that when I turn the ignition acc on, the relay clicks on and stays on as long as the ignition is on. After turning the ignition off, it stays on for about another 45 secs, then clicks off. The windows themself work fine. Is this right? I amm just wondering because the relay gets very warm. Thanks |

sounds normal. the bem controls the window relay and it gives you a delay when you remove the key in case any windows aren't fully up, saves having to turn the ignition back on to put them up

Hi. Yes this is normal just make sure you used a high quality relay and you wont have any problems. Cheers MD
