Default FPV numbers dropping

Have noticed FPV have taken down all new car adds
on carsales, its really dropped the overall numbers
of cars that are actually on the market! These cars
really are going to dry up by the looks!

Yes FPV stopped making cars months ago but had left new car adds
for F6, Gt, Gt-p on carsales up until yesterday, so when i got on to check the market
there was almost a dozen less cars in each category

My local Ford dealer had their FPV sign changed over to "Ford" branding yesterday. I got the call from my salesman to see if I wanted the FPV sign they had just taken down.......I picked it up on my way home from work yesterday and will now sit proudly on my garage wall!!

You will probably find they weren't actual cars. Dealers put fake ads up to get people into the showroom

What is the significance of a BF cobra I see them advertised for exorbitant amounts. I mean the original cobra's at least they raced at bathurst the bf's all they did was go into private collections never to see the light of day. So I can't understand the bf cobra hype.

BF Cobra was made in limited numbers ( 500 total 400 sedans and 100 Utes )
They had the R Spec suspension
Unique colour scheme on body and wheels
They had the 1st of the Boss 302 Motor - which eventually made it to a handful of standatrd GT's in BF2 anyways

Basically at the time - there was a lot of hype , it was seen as the GTF of the B series and was snapped up by investors and "proper" buyers as well
At the time - it was revealed during a parade lap of Mount Panorama prior to the start of the 2007 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. It was big news and was seen as a celebration of the original 1 - 2 win 30 years prior .

It was seen as a watertight 100% investment opportunity.......... at the time...............

Great minds think alike. I have requested my local Ford Dealer for this FPV sign once it has been pulled down too to be a special feature in my new garage.

With the demise of FPV, it might take a while; but the pedigree cars will filter down as classics.
Might take some time (30 years+), but the best of the FPV's will become like Brock Commodores.

That's my local dealer , trying to gouge a lot of extra dollars on a low mileage car ( possibly one he had tucked away ) by putting R spec badges and stripes. They are having a big sale this weekend wonder whether it will go for less thna the near $100k they are asking????? He's dreaming.

The Black Manual fg Mark 2 GT-F (390/500) with 56km, never registered, was just passed in the SA prestige pickles auction this morning.
Bidding stopped at $95,000.
Had it sold its value would have been $95,000 + $2,300 commission and fees = $97,300.
The actioneer stated that the highest bid was far short of expectations.

56km yet never registered? Was it a promo car used on a track or something?

Market has spoken. They need to lower their expectations. Vultures.
