Hi all,
Bit of a long shot I know, and I am following up on a couple of other leads, but I am after a specific wheel lock nut coded 5B38 (as pictured). Enquiries at a Ford Parts depot lead me to believe that the lock nuts were outsourced, and the company has since gone under. However, the silver lining is that this coded lock nut was one of the more common ones used for Tickford wheels (apparently there were only about 6 differing combinations). If you have any old lock nuts from original wheels lying around, I would greatly appreciate it if you could check the code. I am happy to pay a small fee to compensate if required and postage. I live in the north end of the Gold Coast. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I get a 'flat'! [IMG][/IMG]

First thing I did was check with Ford...and they told me the SA company that made them for Ford has gone, as is no longer trading.

Hello all, looking for an Ford Wheel Lock Nut as close to this as I could photo;
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Koe...usp=drive_link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gcC...usp=drive_link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v7_...usp=drive_link It is NOT 6B38 because I have that and it does not fit. Happy to pay for postage and tracking and than can send it back to you my cost. All I need to do is take 4 nuts off. Misplaced this damn original socket and cannot find it. |
