Default Final Showdown - XR8 Sprint vs. XR6 Sprint

Because the cars are identical (apart from black roof and mirrors on the XR8), this comparison is basically going to come down to which engine is better, and which car handles the engine better (i.e. weight over the nose).

Comparing Auto for Auto, cars are seperated by approx. 7K, in the favour of the XR6. Therefore, is the XR8 worth the extra coin?

It's a little hard to evaluate the XR6 considering we don't know everything about the engine, but let's just say it's a little more potent than the F6.

I'm not going to debate this, it's up to you...

Yup the 6 and the 8 are identical
Apart from the black roof which should see the 8 being slower /thread

Getting a little over this topic which just about comes into every thread.so ill stroke the fragile egos of i6t owners and say yes they are quick, powerfull etc.but for the 99% of people who dont race their cars does it realy matter which is quicker as most people will never use either to their potential.

Pretty sure the Wheels are silver on the 8, which has to make it quicker.

Quite possibly the stupidest thing I have ever read.

To summarise, you are saying for 99% of people who buy an Xr6 Turbo or Xr8, they don't care how fast it is.LOL

They are both sprightly , some will like the 6, others the 8 , i would have either happily, one may go a second quicker around a track , doesnt bother me , i do like the sound of 8 cylinders burbling off from the lights, be it a 25 year old lexus , a tank fairlane or the mighty 2016 v8 falcon , so i might be swayed by the V8 .

Like it's been said. He starts it off, then if it seems to be slowing down he'll think of something to kick it along again.

Who gives a toss, both Sprints have too much power for the chassis now. But I hope Ford fans get out there and snap these sprints up why they can. The 6T is going to be one fun machine when on max boost!

so you're saying that when 2 things are identical, save for 1 feature, it is that feature which will define which one is better

how insightful
