Default A paddock of Falcons

I took these photos in February 2011 after the FPV open day.
Unsold Falcons parked on grass right out to the fence of the factory grounds. I remember reading that the staff car park was also full of stock too. I'm sure many will remember this time, with Fords local future hanging by a thread. I believe it was this situation that played a huge part in the decision that was made public just a two years later.

Used to happen through the years.
Paddocks were full of Falcons.
Used to wonder where they all went to.

Mitsubishi had the same problem at tonsley towards the end, trying to keep production ticking along, but not selling out the dealer end.

Once upon a time, the staff carpark was full of Falcons too because the staff used to buy them. But in the later years, not many who worked at Ford actually bought one themselves.
