Default Cleaning diesel soot from garage

Moved into a new (old) house, previous owner owned a diesel and also used to home-service other diesels in his garage. Garage is pretty filthy, including the roller doors where it looks like each ridge is covered in diesel soot.

I plan on taking to it with the pressure cleaner - wondering if loading the cleaner with the some truck wash or something else might make it more effective.

Anyone had any experience removing diesel soot/residue from brickwork, concrete and rollerdoors?

I’d be spraying it with something like Kenco degreaser solution; keep it wet, gently agitate, hose off after 30 minutes then try a pressure clean.

That's the brand oven cleaner the cleaner who cleaned my rental property on exit used. Works a treat on ovens, too!

He looks like Ron Jeremy’s love child.

The old style oven cleaner with ethanolamine worked well on parts, but I think either type would be harsh on brickwork or painted metal - you might end up forcing chemicals into the porous bricks with the jet wash, or stripping galvanising off door tracks.

I would use an alkaline wheel cleaner and a magic eraser. Spray with the wheel cleaner, soak, scrub with the eraser and then hose off with the pressure washer.

P&S Brake Buster if you can get some or Meguiars Wheel Cleaner -

I'm wondering if you ran the pressure washer out of a bucket filled with hot water would it help the process?

Quite a few options - might trial each on a small section of brick and garage door and see what works best and hopefully does not damage. Thanks all

Don't get why someone would start a diesel (or any car) with doors shut in an enclosed garage. If it was just from driving in and out of the garage I wouldn't expect there to be so much residue on the entire garage door
