Hey guys,
Just bought a set of NA Fairlane velour seats to go into the ED. They're the cleanest examples I could find, but still not clean enough for my liking. Before I clean them so i can install the buggers, I was wondering what is the best stuff to use as I don't wanna wreck the velour before I even get them in. I've looked in the manual but it only lists leather, wool blend and polyester as the interior trim, no velour. How would steam cleaning work? Thanks in advance Adam |

I used the Kitten seat cleaner (comes in a red and black can), and worked a treat.

When we put in Sunny's interior (which was all velour), we mixed up a heap of Surf laundry concerntrate in a bucket and scrubbed all the door trims with that and a brush. Then we cracked out the GMC high pressure washer and blasted them clean. Came up AS NEW ;)
If they were my seats, I wouldn't be afraid to do the same thing to them either......anything else is just gonna rub the dirt in IMO. It won't wreck them...the only thing you'll have to worry about is the drying time in Melbourne |
