Talking Magenta ED pics?

G'day all,

I've had a request for a magenta ED or similar pic? Can anyone help?

Cheers!

I photoshopped Tikfd6's car, I suppose this is what a magenta ED would look like.

magenta

adj : deep purplish red n 1: a dark purple-red; the dye was discovered in 1859, the year of the battle of Magenta [syn: fuchsia] 2: a battle in 1859 in which the French and Sardinian forces under Napoleon III defeated the Austrians under Francis Joseph I.

That'll teach those Austrians...

Cheers Van Gelder, top effort. I'd better post the actual query just to clarify. It seems there was a factory magenta and pics of them are hard to come by.

Hi there, I was wondering if you could help me. I am after a photo of the 'magenta' ED falcon (Or anything else that is the correct ford magenta) I am trying to paint a car in that colour and am totally unable to find a single picture of one.

Any help you could give me would be great.

Thats not a very nice pic of my car.

Magenta would have to be the Gheyest ED colour made.
There used to be one in Townsville that had a big (TransAM) bird on the bonnet.
Like the colour looked Ghey.

They're rare for a reason.
It's a poor colour. Worse than reef green.
Compare it to the likes of other ED colours- cobalt blue, polynesian green & le-mans red etc, it's easy to see why they're not around wearing paint like that.

Hmmmm, looks very, um, interesting! I saw an EB XR6 that was dark metallic purple & that looked ok, but that magenta just looks a bit too "festive" to me! :yeees:

whats wrong with reef green? I always wanted an EF in that colour. It looks hot with a good tint job

I don't think it's quite as pink as that Photoshop attempt :P I recall "Glock" having an ED that had a rare colour that I think may have been magenta. It didn't look too bad... :O

Hmmmm, the photoshop effort doesn't look like it at all!! But thanks anyway.
I was the person who originally put in the request, and although I think it didn't look to crash hot on a falcon, I'm interested in the colour for another non-falcon project.

Anyone help out with a pic?

ANYONE?

LMAO luke, you're a *****

IMO the colour looks crap, but perhaps thats because the only ones ive seen in the colour are owned by old people with thest ghey metal sunvisors on the front scree, autobarn chrome wheel covers, rear windscreen louvres.

dumped with some horn rims and just the right bent 8 note from the exhaust might change my mond on the colour!
