Just a quick one. Will EA side windows fit on an ED?

Yes all the same, just the later model e-series that got the different cowel at the base of the windscreen have a longer windscreen, and it appears the top of the firewall is chnaged as well.

further on that, its not changed by much,
you have to remove the small "brace" piece on the cowl panel(which isnt on EB2 on anyway - so its obviously not needed) and fit the EB type wipermotor.

other than that the EB2 screen should fit into an EA / EB1.... though i havent done it yet so dont quote me on it.

Not bothered about front screen... just side door windows (passenger). Just been scratched from dodgy electrics motor, or people trying to break in. Either way, needs replacing :S

The Side door glasses will Fit. Same dimensions. The tint may be a little different but I dont think it will be TOO noticable

What's your recommendations guys? I'm changing them BECAUSE I'm tinting windows, and don't want the scratches to show up anymore than they already are. It is worth while hunting around for earlier model windows? Because I'm changing both, I wouldn't think it would be too noticable. But again, I don't want to go through with it all and think "DAMN,why is that window black and the other one grey!"

Like I said Okin, the difference is so minimal I dont think it will be a problem. Take a piece of white paper with you when you buy it and see what it looks like then the same thing with your existing glass? If you cant see the difference yourself, take a couple of mates along and get their opinions? Still a cheap event
