94ED, just CAREFULLY place a flat bladed screwdriver under the FRONT lip of the indicator and lever out a little. You will see an amber leg there which you have to push backwards slightly and it should release.? DONT go at it like a Bull at a gate ok?
Remember, you do this carefully and if you cant get it first time? find someone who has patience YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED |

Maybe you should go down to your local dealer, go for a test drive and then rip them off? That way your dads car will be sweet and you have your indicators!
How awesome would that be? Actually you can badge it while your at it. Instead of getting on the **** and getting a couple of UDL 6 packs you can buy some indicators yourself. Are the windows tinted? Give that a crack! : : the man sucks! :MrT_anim:

This is funny. Condoning theft in this forum is silly....maybe the thread starter would have been wiser not too mention his source, not on a forum anyway.
On another note, what Clear indicators (as i have an ED too), are the easiest to put onto my car? I had read somewhere VT commodore ones? |

Yes.. lets go and take stuff off company cars... I want those purple doors of the Cadbury cars...
94EDxr6, seriously i wouldn't do it... i went through a very similiar scenario not that long ago, the wanting to modify the car and having limited cash... you know what i did.. went to the local wreckers who were more than willing to help for cheap too!! Make a couple sacrifices and you'll be able to afford them. Dont go riping stuff off a company car, if i was your old mans boss and found out i would be p!ssed!!!!

Look guys for starters the BA side repeaters wont fit, coz the actual globe holder which sits in the back of the indicator is a different type of slot. Chopping it yeah maybe, but theres a lot to chop off and if you get it wrong your stuffed coz it will be too small the use the original ones. There is also no leg on the BA repeaters to lock it in the guard.
Ba repeapters sit on an indented surface in the gaurd. ED repeaters sit on top the guard/body moulding. Best option is to get some AUII clear side repeaters. Still a little chopping required before they will fit, but at least they wont leak coz of the rubber seal and no glue required. As for taking apart a company car, I think thats just pure disrespect to a car. No car should ripped like that.

i had no idea that this idea of mine would cause so much grief. im sorry if i have offended anyone however if I wanted the "purple doors of the Cadbury cars" - that would obivously become an insurance clame. Im sure $20 indicators would no go there - i might try get some AUIII ones instead.
At least they don't notice the tread... |
