Question EL fairmont ghia - what's it worth?

Hey all, I'm looking for a car soonish as my old one's about to spit its tranny out, and saw a rather nice looking fairmont on ebay (here) . $8000 so far with 150k on the clock. Just wondering what you esteemed gents thought it was worth? It appears to be stock but I can soon fix that
Thanks all!

Thats an NF Fairlane, looks pretty clean, would be worth more than 8 large if it's mechanically sound!

Edit: Beat me to it

Ah ok guys thanks for clearing that up! So where does the fairlane ghia fit into the falcon family? Is NF relatively equal to EL or EF? Or does that not apply?

One other thing looking at the pictures I think I can just make out the tickford logo behind the front wheel arches. Were these tickford tuned cars or is that just something he's stuck on?

Sort of, the NF/NL is just the long wheel base version of the EF/EL. They're pretty similar inside.

The NF did have a range of ticky options like suspension and what not, but the motor was not tickford tuned. The badges aren't original. You can get NL Tickford Fairlanes, there pretty sweet and rare!!

look in the for sale section, there is a very cheap EF II Ghia for sale, genuine sale and well worth getting if you're interested in getting it from sydney.

Looks good for 8k.
I know they say a picture is worth a thousand words etc etc but they haven't written a whole lot about the car. May or may not come with the roof mount screen.
Enquiries/questions needed if you were keen.

I'm leaning towards getting a soarer now anyway, although the fairlane does look rather pimping :
I wouldn't feel comfortable buying something this expensive on ebay
