Default EF XR8 Question

Can you change the MAF from the standard one to a EL GT one with no dramas?

or will that upset some fancy ford thing that will make the car explode if we change it?

Fraid not.

To use the maf you'll need the EEC anand 24# injectors.

you can use the housing with your standard electronics but this will cause some drivability problems.

E-Series sensor stays. Just the MAF housing gets changed (for larger AU size).

This may cause some tuning problems (idle or flat spots) but I never experienced any of these. I have an ex-NZ maf in my EB :P
