Default central locking question

gday ppl

my rear central locking motor is bugged on my ef wagon gli im woundering if i can get any motor for it(ford falcon) or does it have to match a code?

also is there a special tool to undo the bolts as there nothing ive seen and defently dont have a tool for them wanting to know bcos it looks very simple to change but the only thing stoping me is the bolts and i dont want to really pay someone to do it

no it doesn't need to mach code and the odd shaped bolts are a star drive and the little bit you need costs $10 each ;)

you can buy a single central locking motor from jaycar for 10 bux
thats if you have them over in adelaide

You cant really replace the one factory actuator with an aftermarket actuator.

Normally we replace the whole set (4 Doors) and then install a new controller & loom and wire it back into the factory loom.

yer i went and got a second hand one work great for about 5 hours now dosnt work again
