I clean my car inside my car once a month and i thought i was doing a great job but I started to have problems with the windows, they would go down but not go back up. I took the right hand door apart tring to find why it wasn't working after not finding anything wrong with the electric motor i turn to the switches. I took them out and to my supprise they were clogged with dust, i clean that and then did the rest of them so i wouldn't get that problem again. So if u have a window problem check out all the door switches before anything else.

Q: How clean is ur car ?
A: Not very. Still havent found enough time to wash it. Plus until our garage is emptied there's no room for a car so it's just gonna get dirty anyway.

Inside is in need of a quick vacuum and something to get hair out of seats. Outside, well, it was washed, scratchx'ed, paint cleaned and waxed just yesterday so its as clean as it will get without a full respray.

I'am fairly fussy with cleaning cars. Always have been. But some ******* keyed the boot about 4 months ago at KNOX CITY.
But my wife treats her 2002 Mazda SP20 like a spare storage area & if I don't clean the car inside or out, check tyre pressures & remove heaps of unnessary items from the car .Well you get the pic just drive the car & complains when I nag her to take it to Mazda for a service. There are many people the same cars just a means of getting to point A to B and nothing else |

Interior needs a very fine vacuum due to fine dust but that's it
Exterior needs a shampoo and detail, will spend a good five hours on it tonight The more work you do to keep it looking great means the less often you need to do any polishing and deep cleaning Underbody could do with another coating of lanolin soon

When you work pretty much 7 days a week and get one day off every 2nd month ... you can probably tell the state of my cars ... the only chance I get is to take them to a carwash cafe I trust near work and get it done on a lunch break.
I haven't had a chance to wash any of my cars at home ... plus I am on tank water ... so i try to conserve water a bit ... also my driveway is dusty dirt ... and very muddy when it rains.

THe floor of my AU is a shocker,, that cheap superfine carpet never really looks clean after a vacuum anyway. So i take the matts out and give them a shake and put them back
The outside is in need of a wax but it is clean

I have a black interior and it is extremely dusty. I washed the exterior on the 24th, and on christmas I had to drive on dirt roads, so it hasnt had a wash since. Ive been drinking too much.

Mine gets a bit dusty on the outside because I dont have a garage yet but the inside is spotless and it gets waxed every 2 months so its protected.

the outside is respectable but could use a wash and I am going to my brothers property tomorrow so I guess the wash will wait till we get back.
Needs a detail inside but that is going to wait about a month as I have to change it to Vic rego in Jan.

I have kids... wife's wagon gets a detail whenever I get frustrated with how grubby it is. I even recently hired an upholstery cleaner, and the next day it was trashed again...
My car gets cleaned every week when it's on the road.

i like to clean my car once a week, with some waxed up car wash dad gets. i also go over the wheels with a dish spounge and old tooth brush when they build up carbon. i also just used some of this dash foam dad has as well, and it looks awesome. kind of a wet look. i did this as i just bought a dash mat and though i should cover a clean dash. i got it from ford genuine parts, AUF042M82A, for $50. i have no idea if i got ripped, but it seems fine to me. but knowing my luck it will probably disintegrate in a few months.

My Wife treats the fairlane like a rubbish bin! Crap in the front, back, food smeared on the leather in the back (kids eating something). She wonders why I only clean the outside of her car! She's got a good habbit of tapping thing into poles etc, and parking too close to people so they ding out door as they get their huge asses out of their car.
A perfect AU Fairlane is slowly getting trashed :( |
