Default Urgent Help!! (no Spark)

hey! well after all weekend of grazing knuckles and calling everything a ИИИИ. myself and the old man finally got the EA converted to MPFI. everything was working Perfect. fuel was being pumped engine was turning over, but one problem. no spark! we spent about 5 hours doing every single test known to mankind. we swapped dizzy's and coils and still nothing!! the coil is working and the dizzy is spinning but there is still no spark. now if anyone at all can throw ideas at us that would be great!
im sure it will be something to do with the wiring

now to my second question. there is a little pink wire with blue swirls (not blue trace) is located nere the plugs that go into the thermostat. now the loom that we are using has no pink wire to join with it? we have a few EAs in the family and have found that some do have the wire and some dont! does anyone at all know what this wire is for? iv included pictures in this thread. cheers guys
