Might jsut be different brands. I replaced mine too yesterday as the ones in there looked in need of a change. Same red ones from Repco.

Definately go the nolathane option, rubber is a cheap option and wont reform its shape.

Need a pic of old compared to new?

This is a current issue for me, as I need new bushes for the rear lower control arms in my EA. I was gonna get the Nolathane arms w/bushes fitted and just chuck em in my self, but this suspension guy says it'll f/k with the torque convertor in the auto.. No I'm not going to go manual..

I think I'll still go Nolathane for price and performance, it's not going to be doing hard launches anyway.

Im sure some of you saw my thread in this section about the Nolathane bush's I had. well I got the lower (rear) replaced on both sides under warrenty but they have no stock with the upper. so im waiting.

I think the Blue bushes are not as hard as the nolathane but much better than rubber, so next time I have to pay for some ill be getting the blue ones.

wtf is this talk about nolathane, it's a brand. Nolathane bushes are made from urethane (sp) Nolathane were just the first company to market them. Anyways they're a lot better than rubber but tend to wear out quicker.
