Default EL XR poster request from WA FPV Club Pres

G'day all,

A very interesting e-mail was sent recently to myself and EFFalcon from the President of the WA FPV/Tickford Club. It is reproduced with permission below. If anyone can help with the EL XR poster request he mentions, please let us know.

Cheers!

Jack

Hi Jack & John,

Just come across your website for the first time and was surprised to see the Discovery Centre finally let someone take photos under the bonnet of the EA GT. About bloody time. I have photos of this car when it was on display at the Perth Auto Expo in 1991 i think? I will have to dig them out, plenty of exterior and Engine Bay photos but i cannot remember if there's any of the interior.

Recently i was introduced to a guy over here in Perth who worked at Tickford from the very start right up to the transition to FPV. He had some very interesting photos of the prototype EB GTs being put to the test down the end of Barry road, there's also a couple of photos of a Cardinal Red & Cobalt Blue EB GT as they came over from Broadmeadows looking like a standard falcon. There's also photos of ED Sprints and EL GTs and a few other Tickfords as well. I currently have these photos being burned onto a disc by a friend, i will email them to you guys once they are done.

I am also trying to find a poster of an EL XR6/8, i have a poster of every other Tickford, would you guys know if one is available anywhere?

Have a Great Weekend
