Default Fair Cost motors - possible blown head gasket

Anyone heard of this company? On the northside of brisbane.

Are they any good?

The car is being taken there to be repaired under statutory warranty (one month after date of sale)

I'm pretty sure the head gasket is gone, is losing water, lack of power, no oil in water...

Is it possible for a head gasket to go without water contaminating the oil???

I can't see why not.

Cheers

Ashley

There is no leaks under the car either, this was obviously the first thing I checked for.

does it have white smoke out of the exhuast.
I have seen welsh plugs go, they leak a little under pressure and the hot engine block evaporates the water so you cant see leaks.

There is a bit of white smoke, which evaporates quickly (like steam kinda?)

So I dunno.

Gets worse when the car has warmed up.

Either way they said they will pressure test it and go from there.

yes, it can blow between cylinders or out the side of the block, loss of compression but not actually through a water jacket so no water in the oil.
