give it a run mate, it's a hell of a lot of fun even in a stockish EA. I will be going to watch along with a few others, Sundeep will be racing. Should be a good night.

Question: what happened to your post count? Did you do a "Kyle"?

stockish EA mpi manual should get you 15-17 sec passes depending on driver skill. But considering you said you used to drive an R33 in QLD, & your experience with Cosworths, you should have 15s in the bag :

i ran 16.4 in a dead stock EA 5 speed with 2.92 LSD and a hell of a lot of km's on the clock, so if you can't beat that you suck. :P Hehe, seriously though, with you minor mods a high 15, low 16 is where it's at. My only advice it give it heaps off the line or it will bog down.

how much does the vht stop you from spinning, on street tyres what is good to launch at, i cant launch higher than 2000rpm on the street on street tyres as it just spins heaps.

Last time I went I was able to DUMP the clutch at 4000-5000rpm with only very minor wheelspin... so its very grippy compared to the street! I'll be racing this Friday too.

So tempted to try my car out down there. I'm just curious about how my car would run. Being stock, I dont think it'll do me too proud.

That's not too bad for a stock, auto EB.
I'm so curious to know what my stock, auto EL would achieve.

oOoOoOo The curiosity!
