Default My Car Is Dead :-(

Its a sad day for the car named "CRANRS", she was towed home on the back of a tow truck dead this afternoon.

I was driving near home getting to 80K's and she lost all power at 60K's and i was forced to stop. Tried starting it again and it kinda started but blew smoke from both the exhaust and the engine bay.

RACV bloke thinks its the Dizzy or the Dizzy Coil.

Pic will be posted up later :-(

Cheers Paul

Poor you. My car has never broken down on me or done anything stupid for the whole 2 years I've had it. I know that if my car did break down or something I would be devistated.

Lol. Yes, The only breaking down I experience is when I'm in your car.
But that's not the point I was trying to get across. I'm just stating that I WOULD be so devistated if my car broke down.

John xr6- yeah i washed my engine and normaly the V8s have a hard time after you wash em but not as bad as mine it just wouldnt keep going so it sat on the side of the road for about 2 hours.
We had no idea what was wrong with it dad rang people and they told us its very unlikly 2 be the coil but we did it anyway
It was saved us a 4 Grand reco on the engine thou cause we were going 2 get it rebuilt and a elctronic dizzy in it and ect ect cause it was running so ruff but the coils fixxed it and im happy!!!
Just needs Rings, Bearings and a Lumpy Cam :
