ok,now this is going to sound like a stupid question....but anyhoo,If my auii was to have a unichip already installed,where would it be and are they easy to find/see.I have removed the kick panel around the ecu and cant see anything that jumps out as a unichip and also nothing under the bonnet.The previous owner of my car has stated that it has one,but I think it was removed b4 sale(but that is not an issue)by himself or car yard.

sometimes they put it under the carpet on the passenger side that is where my mates was if not it looks like they took it out then.

the unichip is fairly big and hard to miss, like open wallet size almost, and usually installed under the standard ECU behind the passenger kick panel, if you have the kick panel off and you cant see anything apart from the standard ECU, then you havent got a Unichip installed.
