Default woo friggen hooo

well im excited cos today i saw my falcon for the first time in months
RECAP
it has the stage 4 snort performance turbo kit bolted on and it was sent to get plumbed up
it is now sitting in the car park with ten other hi performance machines waiting on mackays best mech to finish it off
damo at ls1
WAITING WAITING
damo is the best tuner/hi perf worker but when you got so many cars to do you gotta wait sometimes
mods so far:-
BIG pwr auto trans cooler
electronic shift kit
mini spool
ultra low springs ( with a coil chopped off )
monroe shocks
whiteline sway bars ( the REALLY BIG ones )
17" ba xr6 mags
battery relocated to boot
heaps of wire uprading and tidying under the hood
front mount cooler
unichip comp
46lbs injectors
malpasi
bosch 044 fuel pump
catch can
700hp turbo kit
WICKED sound system ( me fit, me work at autobarn, )
electronic boost controller
thats all i can think of atm but you get the idea
i will easily make 250rwkw (stock everything ) and thats where im going to TRY and stop but i do have a motor slowly being built by my father in law ( bowen engine centre ) with
full acl race kit with dished pistons for decomp
mid sized cam
it will be a mild port job
shotpeined
double AU head gaskets for a tad more decomp
this motor will take a good six month to build ( but what do you expect with $0 labour ) so we will probably keep upping the boost and playing with the tune untill that dreadfull day i pop a motor

wow what a ramble i never even wrote that much on school essays
here is a old pic it is now an inch lowewr on the front with BA XR6/8 17" wheels

Go and pick the car up and take it home. Fit the turbo. Then take it to an exhaust shop to have the pipes fitted.

2 days and your done.

1.yeah i chopped the front only so now i have about 1 cm over hang on the tyres front and back

2. nah its been done a thousand times.
from what i have seen and read 10 psi on a stock el motor with a safe tune should be 220 - 250 rwkw

All I want to know is WHY oh WHY did you butcher the front bumper to fit the intercooler?? it must be massive to need that much cut out. Both myself and a friend have 600x300x100 coolers, and they fit behind the bar perfectly fine

I understand your pain, my car is in being turboed atm so I'm also playing the waiting game.....

I like how your going to "easily" make 250 with stock everything.

Any plans for your transmission?

The 250rwkw seems a bit high to me also. I have a mate with a turbo EF. It has a decent tune on a microtech ECU and a pretty decent turbo and he was running 200rwkw. He is getting a new head on at the moment so that should get a little more but I think 250 is a bit keen.

The AU made 260rwkw on 10psi so it is doable. Your gonna need a good cam tho.

exactly, with engine mods i can see it happening, just not with a completely stock engine.

THAT is my old turbo kit.. coming along nicely Dean

still hanging to see how it turns out.. Turbo ok now?

Its going to be a weapon, im guesstimating 220rwkw until the rebuild or until you run more then 10psi into it though. either way its going to be nuts!

mick malta only has a very basic turbo kit on an ed and it ran over 200 with only microfueler on an extra injector
so i was basing my figures on this and many other things
a mate is making 340rwkw on 18psi in an ea ait

You realise he only made about 6 extra kw with a ECU?

How do you estimate your figures to be 50rwkw more? Thats not really an estimate.
