wondering what to do about sqeaking breaks, have cleaned out the break dust numerous times with compressed air and high pressure hoses.
wheels also sqeak when the car is rolling slowly. suggestions?

take of the pads an lightly file the edges (does it stop squeking when u apply the brake?)

nah the breaks are sqeaky too. only seems to be in those place where the car is rolling slowly like in high rise carparks, hindly street etc etc

I've got the same prob. Any help would be appreciated. I've still got plenty of pad, but that doesn't stop the sqeaks.

as a stop gap quick fix so the noise can be fixed on an important cruise etc i found a quick squirt and I mean quick squirt of armourall or something similar does the trick for a good couple of weeks unless it rains, unfortunatley from experience depending on the type of brake pads used its a pain in the ***. Make sure not to muchon as it is slippery stuff, usually just overspray from the wheels helps

my xf did this,,get the disc's machined and get new pads,,if the wheels are squeaking then tighten the wheel nuts...and never put anything that is a polish or lubricant on brakes,,you may as well use grease.

Try removing the glaze from the discs with wet and dry and make sure the caliper slides and piston are moving freely
