Default Help Needed with My EA

Hey all,
I recently had a bingle in my ea.

Its been sitting in the car port for about a month and hasnt been started. I went to start it the other day and it makes a clicking sound.

Could it be the battery or am i in for some bad news?

heres some pics of the car anyways:

Nice lookin S-Pak dude...

Welcome to the forums.

As far as clicking goes, I seem to remember something about that not being anything too major... But Im not the most mechanically minded of people.

Once again, welcome to FF.au, and someone will undoubtedly be able to give some suggestions as to why your beast aint roarin like it should.

Yeh those flux capacitors can play up a bit. I mean, all you gotta do is bang the dash and it should start. Make sure you get it to 88 MPH pretty quick though.

It should also be lightning to get it to charge correctly.

the "click" is the sound of the ignitor in your fuel tank... someone rewired your ignition it and is trying to blow you up...

Alright serious note now!

Got a new battery car started perfect
Left car running came inside and herd a massive BANG!
Ran out and there was steam coming out of my bonnet.
Radiator fluid all under the car.

Does this mean i may have cracked my radiator?
How much does that normally cost?
I bought the car for 2,800, is it now worth it or not?

PM ME

What did you do, go inside and watch the Lord of the Rings Trilogy?

Have a look for what has blown, the "MASSIVE BANG" is a tad worrying. It may have just burst a hose though. Im thinking that when you put the battery in, youve fouled something somewhere. Its a strange coincidence.

Radiators are a couple of hundred (new).

Edit: Ignore me, I hadnt realised its been in a bender. How long was it running for?

the radiator hasnt been pushed into the fan has it?

from those pics it doesnt look like it would have been moved enough, but it may be possible that the bang was one of the fan blades breaking off?

Could be the Aircon condensor (evaporator, I always get them mixed) has hit the radiator and damaged it.
