the wiring actually doesn't exist :/
it will be expensive to install power windows as wiring has to be installed throughout the car (meaning most interior out :o

i fitted power windows in my EF GLi ages ago.. i'm very happy with it and glad i did it, but i did it all myself so cost wasnt a worry.
i used 4 2nd hand power window regs and they're all ok so far.

thanks for the feed back, power windows are not important (only if it was cheap, then i would convert) i only purchased this car because im travelling australia and it was the best presented/condition wagon i could find with decent low klm's (113,234)

p.s im selling my mazda astina and to get it roadworthy i need to fix one of the power windows (go figure).

aaah i see, if its already got power windows then it wouldn't be *too* bad to repair.
to replace a motor isnt very hard at all, worth going and getting some quotes?

Its not that easy, ive already swapped back 2 front motors, one has a node that has broken in half (that can be fixed) however the front only works when the control box is slightly tilted (bloody headache) an auto elec can look at it, but @ $60 per hr.

cant wait to get rid of it, and cruise the hwy in the new FORD!

I'd simply replace it for one from a wrecker.
